Mark Lieberman lives in Westchester County, New York, with his wife, Nancy, and their daughter, Carolyn.

“My objective is to help families in Westchester and Putnam Counties to live in harmony with their dogs. We know from our own experience that dogs are wonderful pets that bring joy, love, and fun to families. With proper training, dogs can bring us great happiness. I help families attain this harmony and in so doing save many dogs that might otherwise be sent to shelters.”

Nancy and Mark adopted their first dogs (Winston and Tammy) in 1983. Both Winston and Tammy were abandoned dogs nursed back to health by a kind woman in Croton-on-Hudson. Now, Mark and Nancy have another male/female pair -- Ullye and Petie. Petie was adopted from the Elmsford shelter in Ardsley, and Ullye was adopted while Mark and Nancy lived in Belgium (she barks in French).

Mark is a Master Trainer with over 1,000 dogs trained. Mark is also a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals.

Mark has appeared as an expert on the CBS Early show and Cablevision News. He has been quoted in such publications as the Journal News and Pet Gazette.

Mark’s first career was in information technology. He authored information management books and taught at New York University's graduate school. Mark grew up in New York City. He received a BA from Queens College of The City University of New York and an MBA from Adelphi University.

Nancy grew up in Ohio and moved to New York after receiving her BA from Oberlin College. Nancy worked in advertising and marketing at Merrill Lynch and Prudential Securities before becoming a financial consultant. Nancy has studied piano and singing, and she is currently the director of the Katonah Women's Club choir and a member of The Master Singers. She is the past director of the Golden Apple Sweet Adeline's chorus. Nancy is a part-time school bus driver.

Mark can bring harmony to your home by teaching you to properly communicate with your dog. Mark will solve all of your issues and provide you with peace of mind through the Bark Busters “Life-of-the-Dog” Guarantee.

What my clients say about Bark Busters . . .

Dogs have been great. I have been able to let them run free on a backroad which is closed to traffic. If they get to far out in front of me, I just call them by name and tell them to sit and stay until I can catch up. I can either ask them to sit and stay, or ask them to come to me. They really listen and do what I ask of them. I am very proud. --Karen, Purchase, NY

Unbelievable! At the end of one session, Lucy stopped begging/crying for food at the table. It's amazing how effective this training is. Immediate results... --Stephanie, White Plains

Mark was a pleasure to work with, very knowledgeable and very understanding. He showed such compassion, patience kindness with our puppy. And of course my puppy respected him a great deal. I have learned so much. -- Bill H., Pelham Manor

It's amazing how simple it really is. We have seen positive results in the first few days. --Karen M., So. Salem

Bark Busters was worth every penny! There was no food, no cruelty. Everything was simple. --Anthony M., Croton-on-Hudson
