Photo of Junie Joshua worked with us to understand Junies issues and areas for improvement and was able to quickly make immediate changes. He was super clear and made the whole process so easy, we are excited to continue working on her behavior and see her thrive.

Photo of Hamilton Great session. I feel like I have some tools now by being a leader for my dog. I feel this is key to improving any unwanted behaviors. I'm excited knowing I'm now doing the right thing.

Photo of Bailey My husband and I work with Lee and he was incredibly helpful, patient, and supportive. Within the first two hours, we already saw significant improvement with our dog, Bailey, and were provided with everything we needed (step-by-step instructions, equipment, educational materials) to build and maintain behavior change. Lee is highly experienced, and his style is calm, approachable, and steady. We highly recommend Bark Busters!

Photo of Raven Very refreshing and concise information. Very detailed explanation on not only how to correct behavior, but also where the behavior comes from. Very comforting and helpful. We look forward to the future for our furry friend.

Photo of Ares We have had other trainers to help us with our dogs behavior but none of them have explained the reasoning for our dog's behavior. From first stepping into our home to when he left, Scott was beyond helpful, honest, and very patient. He almost felt like family by the time he left. He spoke with all of our family members (family of 10), asked the appropriate questions, and focused on the dog. He made us realize that not only Ares needed modifications, but the way we reacted also needed modifications. We did see a different dog by the time he left. I cannot tell you how great Scot was. You will just have to give him a try and find out for yourself. Thank you Scot for your time, knowledge, and compassion. You certainly picked the right career! We look forward to working with you.

Photo of Winston In our first session, Kyle’s focus on helping to develop Winston’s relationship with me as he grows from puppy to adult dog is a great start! Given Kyle’s tutelage, I’ve been able to build upon Winston’s trust and leadership in me. Kyle likes to know the background and surroundings of each dog, which helps everyone to understand the why behind the behavior. While there’s still a ways to go, I’m very optimistic that Winston will grow into a trusting, well-rounded dog. Thank you, Kyle!

Have a 4-year old lab/staffy mix who has gone through two trainers and a board & train. She would bark and charge at the door if she saw anything (sometimes when she just saw the wind blow), jump over the couch (and yes, over people sitting on the couch) to get to the door faster and pull so hard on her leash during walks. My husband was on the cusp of wanting her gone because we were about to have our first baby and we didn’t feel comfortable with her energy levels. He felt he had no control over her. I found Bark Busters through Google search and decided to reach out because I didn’t want to get rid of my dog. I thought, Third trainer’s a charm!
Amanda is a great trainer and good people! My dog responds well to the training and she doesn’t run our household anymore. She still barks at the door and that’s fine because she isn’t as wired and bossy as she was 2 months ago AND doesn’t pull on walks anymore. But most importantly, she has been great with our one week old son. She listens more to us because we have established more leadership.
The homework Amanda gives you is very helpful and you’ll have access to those resources forever if you ever forget some steps. It’s also lovely how reachable she is for any questions or concerns you may have. I definitely feel that my dog is being taken care of.
