Jared was an intregal part of helping my foster/rescue dog with separation anxiety.
PermalinkI knew I was unable to adopt Billy ( Golden Retriever) unless I was able to leave for work. I lived in an apartment and it made it very difficult to leave as he would bark nonstop at the door, scratch the door, etc due to the anxiety of me leaving. Jared helped share many tactics that made me confident enough to officially adopt Billy. I am able to leave Billy for a few hours a day now and am very thankful for the time Jared spent with us.

Scott is a great trainer.
PermalinkOur dog Velma is a rescue that is anxious and all bark no bite. When we first got her, should would bark her head off at every new person that came into the house, absolutely no way to calm her.
Since working with Scott, we have learned several tips and tricks to get her to be more calm and welcoming towards guests. We have been able to have little get togethers and family stay over with no problems now.
Before, on walks, it was so hard to walk her. She was nonstop barking and whining and we could not get control of her. It made me not want to walk her at all.
Now walking has been so much easier. There is still a lot work that needs to be done with walks but walks are no longer a battle. I know what to do in order to gain that control and her focus, making the walk stress free.
We appreciate Scott’s support during this entire journey. With this lifetime training, we know we have the support from Scott.

While I only was only able to use Bark Busters' services for a short while, Scott was an incredibly valuable resource to help me with my puppy. I learned so much just in the first session and appreciated his feedback and guidance after that.

Who you gonna call? Bark Busters! No seriously, you won’t regret it. Our little Sully was a scared shelter dog whose “bark” was bigger than his bite. After ONE session, James gave us 3 simple skills we needed to regain ownership. These simple skills are now applied in so many different settings - during walks, meeting new dogs, and encountering children. We are well on our way to become the best dog owner for Sully! Thank you!

We are thrilled to have Josh as our personal trainer for Rachel/American Bully and Hudson/Husky. We rescued both Pups last year and don’t know everything that went on in their lives.
PermalinkRachel is a reactive barker and anyone coming into the house is challenging…
Josh showed us a way to relax her from so many duties and it is marvelous!
We are practicing the exercise and it’s working out nicely.
We both would highly recommend Josh who is very knowledgeable and only uses positive reenforcement. By certain sounds and movements are used in his method of training. He is amazing!
We really like the fact of not using treats..
We both look forward to working closely with him soon again

The lessons were intuitive and we especially loved the understanding of the "why" behind them. We're looking forward to our next steps with Zeus.

Our dogs have both demonstrated anxious behaviors in their time with us. We thought we'd have to live with that as they are both rescues with unknown histories. Upon Lee's initial visit, he trained us to manage the excess jumping/climbing on us, stress barking and separation behaviors. were within our control. In less than 24 hours, our dogs are both visibly more relaxed, and we feel we are on the road to progress with their complex sibling relationship and individual behavior. So glad we took this step.
