Absolutely the BEST money I ever spent!!! I was at my wit's end. I got my dog during covid so she never experienced people coming in my house. Once people started coming over again, she would bark and bark. She followed anyone who came over around and barked at them. She is a Shepard mix so it was very scary for my guests. She would never calm down. It got to a point where I just did not have anyone over. She also barked at other dogs on our walks. It was all very stressful and not enjoyable. After ONE VISIT with JD, she was a changed dog!!! Unbelievable. JD stayed for 3 hours and listened and learned all about my dog's behavior issues and of course experienced her barking when he arrived. He really took the time to understand her (and my) anxiety!! He taught me all about my dog's anxiety and how to help her relax. I started inviting people over right away, just to test it out. Everyone was totally amazed! As am I. Not only can I invite people over now, without barking, she actually wags her tail and says hi to my guests! If I had not experienced this miraculous transformation, I would not believe it. JD is the best. Oh, plus, we can go for walks without pulling or barking at other dogs. I would totally recommend JD to anyone having these issues. I am so happy. One last thing: these new behaviors started immediately!!! Again, best money I ever spent!

Photo of Ivy Rose Ivy is a boxer mix. She has fear aggression and behavior issues. She is very strong headed and didn't want to listen. Kevin has helped me communicate better with her.Her behavior has changed so very much. Kevin is very attentive and listened to my issues with her. She has also bit someone and I thought she would be put down. I felt she was worth saving if they thought she wasn't too far gone. She was 18 months old. I have multiple sclerosis with many issues including balance so it was very hard to control her at 72 lbs. She has calmed down so much. I just didn't want to give up on her. The money I spent was well worth it. She is such a loving dog and I didn't want to lose her. I got her at 4 weeks and 3 days old. Bark Busters is worth the call, money and time spent to change her attitude. Thank you Kevin for all your support. Highly recommend calling them if you have any issues with your fur baby.

Photo of Harley It took one session. One, and Harley learned to look to us for direction when she saw another dog or squirrel immediately instead of becoming a crazed, prey driven beast.

I almost emailed Mark after the first day, because the change was so incredible. On our first encounter walking, she got one reminder from me and that was all it really took. Not only did she start walking behind me on our walks, she looks at passing dogs, looks at me, and then just keeps going - zero fuss. We've stopped and watched squirrels calmly and she no longer vocally alerts us to passers by from her couch perch. My husband is thrilled with how well she is behaving in the yard and even had her sit calmly next to him while he pet a passing dog over the fence. She and the other dog even "met" through the fence, with no hackles or teeth and calm, wagging tails. We're both in awe of how quickly and well it worked when we committed to it and have been consistently owning the space and reminding her she can count on us to be in charge.

I know she will test us, but we know this works and will stay vigilant. We're so happy to see how successful we've been so far and how relaxed she now is just hanging out without having to be on constant alert. Thanks Mark!

Patrick Hickey was an answer to our prayer! He was patient taking all the time needed to educate, demonstrate, perform and practice the training exercises. The first session started with a thorough informative and educational discussion regarding communication with the dog. Very detailed handouts were included and have been most helpful. Our 4 year old rescue Doberman (in our care for 2 months) has been a delight with the major exception of leash pulling and a few other issues. After just the initial session with Patrick, our dog is much calmer overall. He will now walk beside us cooperatively and calmly. He is obedient to all commands and methods that were demonstrated and practiced in that first session. Regular, daily, and repetitive practice of the exercises was stressed with a daily checklist of the tasks provided. We have much to learn and practice; we are looking forward to doing it with Patrick's care and guidance. Thank you Bark Busters!

Photo of Ripley and Harley We were very impressed with Amber. She was very patient with us and our companions. The techniques she taught us are very helpful. The information she provided in continuing the training after she is gone will help us make sure our companions are successful in learning their new lessons.
