We were at our wit's end with our energetic 8-month-old Golden Retriever, Rufus. Jumping, pulling on walks, destructive behavior and ignoring commands – it felt overwhelming. Then we found Miguel, and it was a game-changer!
PermalinkMiguel's positive, patient, and knowledgeable approach led to immediate results and is helping us have the confidence to be better leaders for Rufus. Miguel’s training methods are clear and effective. He is sensitive to the needs and barriers of our household and able to offer helpful suggestions tailored to our unique circumstances.
In just a short time, Rufus has become a calmer and more obedient pup. We can finally enjoy walks and time playing or relaxing at home together.
We can't recommend Miguel highly enough! If you're looking for a trainer who will not only train your dog but also empower you as an owner, look no further than Miguel!

Josh has been an amazing coach for me. My sheepadoodle is full of energy, jumps on visitors, tries to chase squirrels when walking, and loves to counter surf and eat anything. The strategies Josh has shared and his hands on demonstrations keep me focused and have made a huge difference as I work with my dog. I think training my dog in her natural environment is also key to her success. I highly recommend this in-house program.

Josh has been great helping to train our Dachshund. Our main areas of focus have been separation anxiety and reactivity, and we've made great strides in just two sessions.
PermalinkWe've had other trainers before, and have found that they often take a one-size-fits-all approach to their training -- they try to apply their framework to every dog without exception. I appreciate that Josh instead meets our dog where he is and adapts his approach accordingly. He's not blindly applying a framework to every dog he interacts with. You can tell he loves dogs and takes his job very seriously!
Josh has given us thorough, actionable advice to improve our dog's behavior in our focus areas, and I have no doubt we'll solve our dog's issues with Josh's help! He's super responsive to our questions, in person and via text, and scheduling follow-up sessions is a breeze. Highly recommend Josh to anyone looking for a trainer!

I called bark busters in need of help with two new puppies. They were so quick to get back to me and answer all the questions I had. When they came out I was skeptical that neither dog would respond to the training. After the first exercise the dogs were already listening to me. I love that they teach YOU how to train the dog rather than them doing it for you. My dogs have already made a huge improvement from just the first session. I can’t wait to see how they continue to do.

Stephanie is the best!! I’ve run through so many different and “well credentialed” trainers and the bark busters method helped my pup improve almost night and day within one session! She’s also very sweet and you can tell really loves the dogs she works with. It’s been such a pleasure working with her and bonding with my pup more. Book her now!

Dan is amazing. We have a lovely 3 year old rescue who is great with people but had a lot of leash aggression issues. Every time we would walk by another dog, she would start snarling. It got to a point where we felt like we were apologizing to other people more than we were actually walking.
PermalinkWe contacted Dan and described the situation. He took the challenge and we scheduled a time for an in-home visit. After just 2 hours, we felt like we had a different dog. She behaves on walks now, often ignoring other dogs. Granted we are still doing a lot of work to keep everyone in check, but Dan's tips and guidance put us on the right path.
We are now continuing to work on other training - respecting the door, walking at heel, etc - and feel like we're going to continue to make huge progress.
Our only regret is not contacting Bark Busters sooner. We can't recommend Dan enough.

If you’re reading this as a frustrated dog parent, look no further for any other trainer/ company. Absolutely go with Bark Busters!
PermalinkAmanda, our trainer is a genius. She showed me this video of a mama dog correcting her pups
and this is what the leader of the pack (me) does. I’m basically mama grunting at them when they do anything out of line or any thing I want to correct. Amanda is super cool and personable and can show you so many ways to get your dogs in line. There’s obviously more to it than just grunting so make you’re appointment with this company!!! My dogs are happier dogs! My dogs don’t have anxiety and IIIIIIIIII don’t have anxiety. I can enjoy my dogs now!
It’s crazy. It’s totally working! No treat or punish training.
My Cooper is not fear barking and lunging at people and my other dog Hunny isn’t separation anxiety barking outside when she can’t see me.
It took one water spray and a grunt before she came inside; I closed the door again and she quietly, patiently waited to come in until I let her.
Some dogs are a little more stubborn (cooper has been surprisingly) but it’s working. Hunny fell in line immediately.
My dogs aren’t CRAZY! Amanda and I are working on leash training in 2 weeks. Potty/ crate training rn. No more pee pads.
This is what I’ve been needing in my home. Thank you Amanda!

Don't walk, run to work with Bark Busters. Please read my review if you relate to any crate-anxiety issues.
PermalinkHere's my story: I have a puppy GSD who's shockingly lazy, but his shepherdation (separation) anxiety was really out of control to the point where he could break out of his crate AND open my front door.
I would describe myself as highly dog knowledgable so I am VERY particular about the methods used by trainers. To each their own, but e-collars, prongs, etc are band-aids (or worseners) for most problems since most dog-owners don't really understand the timing/utility of these tools enough to ween off of them at any point. If your dog is a 100/10 lunatic, then I guess I get it :|
Anywho, I was honestly shocked to learn they don't even rely on clickers or treats, just straight up dog behavior and psychology, yet have the reviews they have.
Here's my summary. I am only 2 days post training, have received a comprehensive training plan with new crate recs, have gotten 5-7 minutes of a CALM dog in his crate once I've left (a miracle), and did nothing but learn to amend MY body languages and sounds.
Bonus that Anthony was an absolute delight to work with.
Hire them - you're welcome in advance ;)
