"Amazing results!! I can’t believe the transformation in my sweet boy, Wrangler! I have an Australian Shepherd who was very reactive, aggressive and really scared of people. Anthony and his team were able to train me to be the leader of the pack. I have tried boarding, shock collars and everything under the sun before Bark Busters, and all other methods seemed to just increase his aggressive tendencies. Turns out I needed the training! I am now able to introduce Wrangler to strangers, greatly reduce his reactivity and start to show the world the dog that I love so much. The best part is that Bark Busters is there for ongoing training and help whenever a problem arises. They even took him to Barkin Creak (wonderful groomer) to help transition to a new grooming tech! They go over and above! Worth every penny!" Josh

Bobby is an energetic 6 year old rough coat Jack Russell Terrier who is deeply loved. In his first year, I had hired 2 different dog trainers because Bobby was a lively, stubborn, head strong, know-it-all puppy. Absolutely adorable, but difficult to train. The last I wanted is to break his exuberant spirit and just went on with the training he received. As it turned out, Bobby thought he is the alpa in the house and wanted to run the show. Finally I googled and stumbled over "Bark Buster" which had excellent reviews. One week after contacting Bark Buster, Jerry arrived at our house for home training. The first session was long, thorough and I learned a lot! Bobby responded excellently to the new training methods which are applied in "dog language" and are absolutely non-violent. Three weeks later, we had the second session with outside walking training. Here too, Jerry took his time and explained thoroughly what to do walking Bobby outside. As it turned out, Bobby needed to know that he is protected by me and does not need to bark so ferociously outside thinking he had to protect himself. Again, Bobby responded excellently. Of course, the most work lays in the hand of the owner to continue showing the dog that the owner is "the alpha", in charge, and lets the dog know that he is protected. I will continue the training and hope the promise of life-time coverage will be kept by Bark Buster. I highly recommend Jerry. He is an excellent trainer for both, owner and dog.

I called Karen after adopting a young border collie mix that immediately began to show resource guarding and growled and barked at visitors and the neighborhood children. I called Bark Busters as I was very concerned and had read good reviews. I’ve had decades of dogs and dog training but I knew I needed serious help. Karen is fantastic! The training method is humane, smart and powerful. I was no longer a treat puppet for my dog but a pack leader. With just the first session there was a tremendous improvement. Several sessions later, I now have a sweet docile dog who looks to me for guidance and is calm and not stressed. She doesn’t need to challenge me and feels safe with my command. She lets the neighborhood kids pet her and enjoys it immensely. Karen is calm, direct but very considerate and truly the best I’ve worked with and and the method works.

Stephanie has done wonders training our Poodle, Bella. Before, Bella used to be super active at the front door, reacting to anyone passing by. Thanks to Stephanie, Bella has become so much calmer and doesn't charge the door anymore. I'm incredibly grateful for Stephanie!

My pit bull Sophie had some bad habits, mainly barking and separation anxiety. A friend recommended Bark Busters. After two lessons, her behavior is literally night and day. Stephanie taught us how to communicate better and show leadership so Sophie wouldn't try and take on the role of pack leader. She is much less stressed out. I can leave the house without her crying, and she doesn't bark at the door anymore. I'm staying on top of the training. Highly recommend!

Kevin and the Bark Busters team truly deserves a 5 star here -- Kevin has been supporting us with our border collie/pointer mix for the past year or so and we've made really great progress with his help! He's not only taught us more of the psychological aspect as dog owners, but brought a clear strategy to help our dog, Juniper, feel more at ease at home.
PermalinkIf you're looking for a trainer that is deeply empathetic, tailors their approach based on the behavior/personality of each dog, and is always around to support you no matter what, then Bark Busters is it. I will also say their customer support team is amazing and incredibly responsive.
Very happy we decided to go with Bark Busters!!

I've just recently started my ACD Red Heeler puppy Bindi on her training. Pam came to my home on Feb 20th & spent 3 full hours with us learning about Bindi's background, health & 'quirks'. During this time we also worked on verbal & visual commands I'll be using, and some outdoor work on the leash with me sitting in the gazebo where Bindi who right now is a very timid/ever watchful dog couldn't see me but could 'see the world go by'. Pam gave me 2 training tools, as well - a Martingale collar to help with the leash & some chain link to use as a sound correction to get Bindi's attention/stop bad behavior. I felt very encouraged with Day #1 & am looking forward to having a more calm & obedient dog, and I feel the manner in which Pam has you working with your dog will help for a successful outcome. On my Day#2 & Day #6 at home on my own, Pam has emailed me with additional tips for working with my little 'Nervous Nellie'. Pam is pleasant & professional to work with, and you can tell she really cares about helping you & your dog become successful partners in training & afterward.
