About Joshua, Your Local Certified Dog Training Professional
Best Dog Training in South Orange County!
I have been working with dogs since I was 6 years old. My family bred Boxer’s for AKC and Show. Over the time we were breeding we began spending more time training for show! This is where I got my first start, walking dogs and teaching the basics. My mother spent a lot of time teaching me how to show and pose a dog. By the time I was 9 years old I had my first Boxer, Diamond, ready for show! He did place in the top 5 and his bloodline was considered finished!
I continued working with dogs up into my early teens and twenties. I have 3 dogs - Nala, Caine, and Pongo. All three of our rescue dogs have been saved from multiple different shelters. Caine was considered aggressive and was to be an "only-dog". I worked with him over the first couple months of having him and helped transform him to the fun, dog loving Pitbull he is today. Nala is my Yellow Lab-mix, and Pongo a Beagle Pointer mix.
I have now trained hundreds of dogs, and in 2022 I received the award for top single-owner Bark Busters business operator. I have also received awards for receiving the most reviews in a year - a testament to my clients and our relationship.
With hundreds of dogs trained that means I have also taught hundreds of clients how to train and communicate with their dogs, and ultimately to live a much happier life together. I truly love what I do and enjoy teaching and working with people! I hope to have the opportunity to work with and help you!

Stop Unwanted Barking
Barking is one of the most common complaints we hear from dog owners in South Orange County.
While some consider barking to be normal dog behavior, excessive barking is both a behavioral problem and often a sign of stress, and nuisance barking is just that – a big nuisance, not just for dog owners but for South Orange County neighbors and the community!

Dogs bark in a variety of situations:
- Owners arrive or leave home
- Visitors arrive, including deliveries, mail, vendors or friends and family
- Hear other dogs barking
- Playing
- Demanding attention
- Signal a need, like wanting to go outside, or wanting to be fed
- Scared or startled
- Showing aggression, or fighting
- At passersby or animals outside
- …or for no obvious reason at all!
